Implementation:

Implementation can be very smooth if the right initial steps are taken. We can guide you through the process and make this quick and easy for you. There are five main steps, each with sub-steps that we will review here.

Contract Signing:
After signing a DataPipe license agreement with Knorr Associates you will be sent test files that will help determine if your network is ready to accept the application. If you are missing any components or need to make any changes the test routine will indicate what steps you need to take. We will walk through them with you as well. Scheduling all the remaining steps takes place at this stage.

Consultation:
This usually takes place on site and we meet with various groups of users. We will meet with the end users to discuss the process and what roll everyone will have. We discuss and start you on your way to determining what your organization structure will be in the system. When this is determined we help you to implement it in DataPipe. Additionally we will meet with the IT staff and go over installation procedures and what we need from each group. Lastly, we will discuss any legacy data imports and how we can help you to bring your previous data into the new system. If there are any custom report writing, triggers or processes that need to be written once the system is up, we can discuss specs and what is needed from each team. Once these steps are done, we can pick a date for installation.Installation:
No surprises here. It’s very straight forward. We can bring up a system in under a day. If you help us, two days. [that’s a joke]. It’s really quite a simple process. Once installation is complete we will walk you through some basic tasks that day and get you started on some simple configurations that you can do to set up the system the way you want.

Training:
This will be a separate onsite visit. We will train end-users, administrators and Form Designer™ users separately. We can train everyone over several days or we can set up a train-the-trainer course to let you handle the rest; your call. We are usually on site anywhere from 1-3 days. It varies based on client size and requirements.

Launch:
Launch can occur when the system is up and running and the org structure is in place. Once this is done, data can be entered. Over time the system can be configured to your liking. And automation processes can be built into the system in the form of triggers, advanced reports, and external processes. These will help improve the efficiency of your entire program. Triggers, reports and processes are code that can be written by you, us or a third party. We give you full access to what we already have and let you edit or write your own from scratch. We have many useful custom reports and triggers that we can give you for free.
